Holiday Traditions
Ring in the joy of the season! Holidays are great; do you know why people celebrate them? We have so many different reasons. Some holidays are for honoring historic events and important events. Others are for celebrating religion. Most holidays are wrapped up in traditions and are tied to the past. Learn about different holiday celebrations. Hear a Hanukkah, Kwanza, and Christmas story. Make a Holiday Card with us while you ask about the many traditions that Miami celebrates during the season.
Registration includes an activity packet to complete your child’s experience. Packet will be made available via email to all participants three days prior to the program.
Program is approximately 30-45 minutes and recommended for all ages. Capacity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be advised that audio and video recording during this program is prohibited without written consent from HistoryMiami Museum. For best program experience, please be sure that your Zoom app is up to date (version 5.2.2 or higher).
