For more than three decades, HistoryMiami Resident Historian Dr. Paul George has garnered local, national, and international acclaim for his captivating continuing series of historic tours. A South Florida native, author, and former university professor, Dr. George is famed for his uncanny ability to recall the most impressive details about the people and places that make South Florida so extraordinary.
Enjoy a “lunch and learn” with Dr. George and hear about one of Florida’s most unique working waterways, the Miami River.
- Turkey Sandwich: Sliced turkey, smoked bacon, homemade strawberry jam, cinnamon cream cheese, and powdered sugar, served on white toast with coleslaw
