FREE Family Fun Days
Join us on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to 5pm, with activities starting at noon, for free things to do, learn, and experience with the whole family! Spend the whole day exploring the history and culture or our vibrant city. Family Fun Days are from 10am to 5pm with activities are from 12pm to 4pm.

Do you like to dig in the dirt? Put pieces together? Figure out stories from clues and riddles? Join HistoryMiami Museum and the Florida Public Archaeology Network for family fun exploring Florida’s past! Learn about Florida’s history through hands on activities and demonstrations. Interact with real fossils and meet an archaeologist at 1pm and 3pm. Explore how this information helps us understand how people lived in the past!

Enjoy a day of various weather related fun-filled activities with crafts, story time, and more. Learn how to make an emergency supply kit. Join a guided tour at 1PM of our new exhibition Hurricane Andrew: 25 Years Later and discover one of the largest hurricanes to ever impact South Florida.
Family Fun Days are presented with the support of the Miami Dade County Department of Cultural affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners, the Miami Downtown Development Authority, The Miami Foundation and the Michael and Diane Rosenberg Foundation.
