Hungry for History: Dr. Jackson and the Alamo

Visit the historic 1918 Alamo Museum with guide Sylvia Gurinsky. Housed in a beautiful Mediterranean Revival building by August Geiger, the Alamo was Miami’s first hospital. Hear the story of Dr. James Jackson, the pioneer doctor who moved to Miami in 1896. Includes the farmer's market, if open. Metrorail will be used.
