HistoryMiami offers a wide variety of educational opportunities for families and children. Come discover history through theme-based gallery activities and monthly interactive events.

Family Fun Days

Join us the second Saturday of each month from 1 - 4 p.m., for exciting, one-of-a-kind activities including guided tours, craft activities and live performances from community based artists. Spend the afternoon exploring the history and culture of our vibrant metropolitan city.

Overnight Camp-Ins

Embark on an overnight adventure filled with fun and learning with HistoryMiami! Campers will explore the galleries, enjoy arts and crafts, skits and other hands-on activities. Camp-ins begin at 6pm on Friday and conclude at 9am the next morning.

Teen Miami Council

The Teen Miami Council is a group of motivated high school students interested in exploring and promoting Miami’s history. The Council provides the opportunity for teens to participate in several aspects of the museum world while being introduced to a wide range of museum professions and learning opportunities.
