The core mission of the HistoryMiami Center for Photography is to collect, safeguard, and share the photographic images that tell the stories of our community and illuminate the Miami experience. The Center emphasizes documentary photography and serves photographers, researchers, and our diverse public in an effort to explore who we have been, who we are, and who we may yet become as a community.

The Center for Photography is made possible by a Knight Arts Challenge grant from The Knight Foundation.
