Delve into the history of Black Miami in the Twentieth Century on a coach tour with author and Miami historian, Dr. Marvin Dunn. Reflect upon the important role of African Americans in the development of Miami as you hear their stories of struggle and triumph.

About Dr. Marvin Dunn

Dr. Marvin Dunn is recognized as a major leader, an intellect and voice of reason in the community. He grew up in Miami and taught in the Department of Psychology at Florida International University, retiring as chairman of the department. His most noted book, Black Miami in the Twentieth Century, is the definitive work on the presence of blacks in Miami. His most recent book is The History of Florida: Through Black Eyes.
