SOLD OUT The Stories Behind Miami’s Front Yard: Biscayne Blvd Walk with Dr. George

Friday Jan 6, 2017 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Members: $20, Non-Members: $30

Join Dr. Paul George in the New Year and learn the fascinating stories of Miami’s front yard starting at the Intercontinental Hotel. The tour will take in the new and the old, including the story of the creation of Bayfront Park/Bicentennial Park and the Miami Grand Prix. You will travel through time from the first skyline in South Florida and the hotels and nightclubs that ringed the west side of Biscayne Boulevard in the early period following WWII. Envision Miami’s first port and anti-submarine chasers on the waterfront and hear accounts of Miami News and Freedom Tower. See Miami at its festive best – at night with the incomparable Dr. George!
