CultureFest 305: Live Storytelling

Enjoy a live reading of Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story by Kevin Noble Maillard and illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal. The story comes to life with a presentation by Melanie Turtle of Seminole Bird Clan Catering who will demonstrate the traditional Seminole method for making fry bread over an open fire.

Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story is the Winner of the 2020 Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Medal and a 2020 American Indian Youth Literature Picture Book Honor Winner.
